SHARE Special provides curriculum materials on Sex and Relationships Education for young people with
moderate or severe learning difficulties
and/or autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) in educational settings. The materials can be used in mainstream schools alongside
the
SHARE
materials (see
description of SHARE) or as a standalone programme in special needs units or in special schools.
40 lessons for young people aged 11–14, 14–16, and 16 upwards. Suitability and adaptation options of
each lesson are shown for young people with ASD, SLD, MLD and PMLD.

SHARE Special Basic consists of a ring-bound, 97-page A4 book. The ring-binder includes holders for the Picture Yourself and
Picture Yourself 2 CDs, and for the Condom Cards, all of which are required in a number of the lessons. The full set of
SHARE Special includes a copy of

Picture Yourself 2, and Condom Cards.
