Me-and-Us Tailor-Made Courses – Terms of Business

1. Your Contract with Us

(i) These conditions shall apply to all Tailor-Made training courses offered by Me-and-Us Ltd.

(ii) A Tailor-Made training course is one where the content of the course is negotiated between Me-and-Us Ltd and the person or persons who commission the training course.

(iii) Your contract with us shall take effect from the time that we confirm your booking with us in writing by post or by email.

(iv) By making a booking with us, you accept that these Terms of Business apply both to you and to all persons on whose behalf your booking is also made and you thereby confirm that you have the necessary authority of such persons to do so on their behalf.

2. Payment

(i) All prices are given in the currency agreed at time of booking and denote the price of the training course.

(ii) In the case of a change in costs, Me-and-Us Ltd may adjust prices if the period between the date of the training course or courses given on the confirmation of order and the proposed date of delivery exceeds 12 months.

(iii) Prices are excluding VAT unless specifically stated.

(iv) Payment may be made by cheque in UK pounds sterling, by international money order, by credit card, by a payment to a PayPal account designated by Me-and-Us Ltd or by a direct credit to a bank account designated by Me-and-Us Ltd.

3. Amendments, Cancellations and Refunds

(i) At time of booking, Me-and-Us Ltd will confirm in writing either by post or by email the date or dates of the training course and what the delivery criteria are for the training course.

(ii) A change to dates or delivery criteria for the training course or courses will not materially affect the terms of your contract with us provided the total elapsed time of the training course or courses remains unchanged and the amended delivery criteria do not require a substantial change of requirement in expertise or level of expertise of the trainer or trainers and subject to the conditions of clause 2(ii).

(iii) Where there is a change of date or delivery criteria instigated at your request such change will form an amendment to your contract with us from the time that the changes are confirmed in writing by Me-and-Us Ltd by post or by email.

(iii) Where there is a change of date or delivery criteria instigated at our request such change will form an amendment to your contract with us from the time that the changes are confirmed in writing by Me-and-Us Ltd by post or by email and accepted by you in writing by post or by email.

(iv) When a training course is cancelled by you or is cancelled by us as a result of our being unable to fulfil the altered delivery criteria requirements, the fee will be waived or refunded subject to a deduction for cancellation charges as follows:

5. Safety and Security

(i) If a participant on a training course has any requirements relating to physical or mental disability then we shall make every effort to accommodate these provided you inform us of your requirements at least two weeks before the course is due to commence, if you fail to inform us then we reserve the right to refuse the participant access to the course and if this leads to cancellation of the course to treat your booking as a cancellation.

(ii) Participants are required to be responsible for the safety and security of their own personal property when attending a course.
